Chelsey Model
We are offering this model two ways. With a walkout basement and without and both are also offered as a shell only option also.
We have modified the Chelsey slightly and the change is great. We have made the pushout a little bigger, ( 8 ft longer and 2ft wider) and this has really given it more space. It’s a wow. A beautiful cottage with a window so tall that you can see the tree tops.
Chelsey Pricing
On a crawl space $165,000
On a crawl space shell only, $110,000. Save $55,000
With a walkout basement $195,000
With a walkout basement shell only $137,000. save $58,000

Every year a few guests ask how to reduce their costs and are able to do some of the work themselves. In short, many asked if we would just do the shell only. The answer is yes. With these two models ( Alpine and Chelsey), we have put together a great package reducing the costs by $58,000. The items remaining to be done are items that you and your best buddy can pick away at, at your own pace. Further, we know absolutely the best places to shop for the best prices and are happy to pass this information on to you.
Shell only includes:
- Lot
- Holding tank ( installed and hooked up)
- Drawings
- Engineers stamp
- All permits
- Water hookup
- Electrical panel, meter and hook up
- Your cottage erected including foundation, walls, floor systems, roof system, windows, doors, siding, roofing, interior walls,
Remaining:
- Decks and piers ( will show you the easy way to do deck piers)
- Wiring
- Plumbing
- Insulation
- Vapor barrier
- Drywall
- Wall finishes
- Ceilings,
- Fixtures
- Flooring
- Base and Case
- Cabinets
- Site works.( leveling of lot, some backfill)
How much will this actually save as you do need to purchase some of these items anyway. Answer is a whopping $34,000+. This is the labor component to do these finishes.
