Cottage Owners Old Fashion Picnic

River Tubing, well as you can image, we now have lots of water for river tubing. Hopefully the crazy weather is behind us and we have lots of great weekends in the forecast. Asessippi is now open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for river tubing, kayak rentals, paint ball and Eurobungy. Also see the fantastic menu at the Dinner in the Valley, located in the Powder Keg Pub and on the deck. See www.asessippi.com.
Week one of Wade Dance Camp at Asessippi has begun. A great camp with the caring instructors that will push your kids into a higher level of dance with nightly fun. A busy week, great memories and life long friends. See website for details.
Trees: The Bonk family is amazing. They have planted another 1,000 trees this spring at Asessippi. Take note:
- Along the entrance road from 482 (paved road) where it turns onto the gravel road. Along side that whole road they have planted nearly 350 trees.
- The main road down to the bridge west side has approx 300 planted.
- Many other areas within the development. As you see them grow think of the Bonks and thank them when you see them. It is going to look stunning in a few years.
Building: We have started on lots 14,17,18,36,31 and 62.Lots 14,17 and 62 are units (Chelsey) that we are building on spec and will be available for sale and immediate move in. Lot 31 will also be for sale for immediate move in (Alpine model). Lot 121 will be a model 3A and available for move in by the end of August.
Cottages for sale: The cottages on lot 114 ( Alpine) and lot 120 (Chelsey) will be available for sale at a great price in about 10 days.
Marina/Dock: This continues to progress well. We now have three of the four approvals in place are working on that last one. MB Conservation, Department of Fisheries and Oceans and Navigable Waters have been great to work with.
We are thinking of a summers cottage owners party. A day of river tubing, kayaking, paint ball, hiking, and evening pot luck BBQ. Hopefully some fireside music and entertainment also. Lois will be in touch with you shortly about this. |
